Silver Birch

The Silver birch is a tree from the family of birches. Its most recognisable feature is the white and black coloured bark, from which the birch derives its name. The bark of the tree is used for making crafts, and the wood for lumber. The tree is found all over Kilden and is often planted because of its aesthetics.
