Joël Silbers

Joël Silbers was born on January 23, 1817, in Lutheria, at his parents' butchery shop. He is the long-awaited son of David and Lena Silbers. Being the eldest, Joël is expected to take over the family business in due course.

Elsbeth Silbers was born on April 20, 1820 in Lutheria, in a house above her parents' butchery. She is the second child of David and Lena Silbers, following her older brother Jöel by three years.

Thanks to some extra savings, Jöel was able to enrol in a business class to gain more knowledge and expand the family business. However, he faced discrimination during class due to his Jewish and poor background. Despite this, Jöel completed the course and applied the techniques he learned to the family business. His father, who remained the owner, trusted Jöel's decisions and gave him the freedom to make necessary changes.

In 1848, the Silbers family began searching for a partner for Joël Silbers to marry. One of their main objectives was to secure benefits for both families. Esther Muller had received a modest dowry following her father's passing. Her foster parents proposed marrying Esther to Joël in exchange for a portion of that dowry. The Silbers accepted the proposal, and the match between Joël Silbers and Esther Muller was arranged. The couple spent several months together to get to know each other, although it was challenging and awkward for them.

Joël Silbers and Esther Muller got married on April 5, 1849. At first, their marriage felt forced, especially with Joël working most of the time. However, as time passed, the couple gained more respect for each other, and their relationship improved.

On January 4th, 1853, David Silbers was discovered deceased by his wife Lena, as they woke up. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 85. Lena, as well as their children Jöel and Elsbeth, were deeply saddened by his passing. David was laid to rest at the nearby cemetery in Lutheria.

After his father passed away, Joël inherited the family business and took on all of its responsibilities. Although he was already heavily involved in the business's operations, the transfer of ownership was still necessary. Despite the company's improved performance, Joël has been struggling to make ends meet.

Louise Silbers was born on November 8, 1853 above her parents' butcher shop in Lutheria. She is the only daughter of Jöel Silbers and Esther Muller.

Lena passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28, 1856, only four years after the death of her dearly beloved husband. Prior to her passing, she was able to see the birth of her grandchild David and ensure his well-being, which brought her great joy in her final days. She is buried next to her husband at the Lutherian cemetery.

Joël was born with thin black hair, blue eyes, and a determined and empathetic expression. He is always quite noticeable and tends to speak loudly. Joël maintains a strong posture, standing at around 180cm tall and weighing 112kg. He exhibits an impressive work ethic and spends the rest of his time dedicated to working for the Jewish community.

Family

The Silbers family has been living in the Kilden district of Lutheria for many decades. They are a Jewish family who work primarily as farmers and butchers. Silbers butchery, run by the family, is known for selling halal beef and poultry. The family is actively involved in the local Jewish community and participates in various activities, charities, and volunteer work.
